From one restaurant hood to a whole hospital campus, welded by crews who know where grease goes.
Mechanically attached or fully adhered PVC on new buildings, additions and kitchens.
Grease-softened or worn roofs torn off and replaced, phased so kitchens keep cooking.
Seams, punctures and flashings repaired with hot-air welded patches, not mastic.
PVC around hoods and exhaust on a TPO or asphalt roof, with grease containment boxes.
Factory-made boots, corners and curb wraps for roofs crowded with equipment.
Grease cleanup, seam checks and drain clearing on a set schedule.
Not all PVC is the same. Thickness, formulation and attachment decide how long it keeps its flexibility in our heat.
Membrane grades
Entry-level PVC for smaller or short-term roofs.
Our standard. 20-year warranties, good puncture resistance.
Thickest common sheet, up to 30-year warranties.
Ketone ethylene ester keeps the sheet flexible longer. Top chemical resistance.
How it is attached
Plates and screws in the seams. Fast, light and the lowest cost.
Bonded to the cover board. Quiet in wind, best over occupied space.
Large factory-welded panels and custom flashings mean fewer welds on the roof.
We install PVC from the makers with the longest track records and choose the formulation for what lands on your roof.
The numbers your architect, insurer or board will ask for.

Polyiso and a cover board keep the PVC away from old asphalt.
Sheets fastened or adhered to the manufacturer’s wind pattern.
Every seam welded and probed; curbs, drains and stacks flashed in PVC.
Containment at exhaust fans, then the manufacturer’s warranty inspection.

In 2026 most PVC replacements cost about $10.50 to $16 per square foot with tear-off and code insulation. An 80-mil or KEE membrane adds about $1 to $2.50, and a recover over one sound roof costs less.
Only where grease, oils or chemicals reach the roof. There PVC lasts far longer. Without that exposure, TPO gives the same white surface and welded seams for about 10 to 20% less.
Animal fats and cooking oils soften asphalt, EPDM and TPO, which then blister, crack and leak around the exhaust fan. PVC resists them, and grease containment boxes keep most of it off the roof.
About 25 to 35 years with maintenance. Thicker sheets and KEE-enhanced PVC keep their flexibility longest in San Antonio’s heat.
Yes, with separation. PVC must not touch asphalt or EPDM, so we install a cover board or slip sheet between them. If the old roof is wet or there are already two layers, it has to come off.
Yes, and we often do. PVC goes around kitchen exhaust and TPO everywhere else, with a proper transition detail between them. It saves money on large roofs with one restaurant tenant.
We walk the roof, map every exhaust and grease spot, cut a test core and send a photo report with repair and replacement prices.
